More than 2,000 high-achieving students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring semester at Northampton Community College. The honor is reserved for students who have completed a minimum of 6 credits and achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in the spring 2018 semester.
The Baldwin Wallace University Center for Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement is pleased to announce a new class of BW Student Ambassadors, a student organization that fosters relationships between BW alumni and the University.
Forty-one kindhearted Baldwin Wallace students elected to spend their week-long spring break volunteering in five cities across the nation. Each experience, led by a BW student with support from a faculty or staff adviser, was made possible through the BW Alternative Break service program. Student volunteers traveled to Waco, Texas; Clarkston, Georgia; San Francisco; Miami; and Washington.

Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher while completing at least three courses for a conventional letter grade during the fall 2017 semester earn the Dean's Award with Distinction.

Eight student composers in the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University had their original compositions performed in concert in mid-November at YSU's Bliss Hall. In total, 25 students, including the composers, performed the original works.
Capping off a day-long Celebration of the Liberal Arts at Wittenberg University, the campus community came together to celebrate the achievements of students and faculty members alike at the annual Honors Convocation in Weaver Chapel. The faculty commemorated the occasion in full academic regalia as the university recognized high achievement of students and faculty members in academic and co-curricular activities.
A group of 13 John Carroll students are winners of recent Model Arab League competitions. Similar to the Model United Nations program, Model Arab League (MAL) is a debate simulation based on the League of Arab States that provides students with the opportunity to learn about the politics and history of the Arab world, diplomacy, and public speech. It is sponsored by the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations.
Several Eastern Connecticut State University students have been selected to participate in an internship with the University's Institute for Sustainable Energy (ISE).
CREATE (Celebrating Research Excellence and Artistic Talent at Eastern), the premier undergraduate research and art conference at Eastern Connecticut State University, held its inaugural event at the end of the 2014–15 academic year. By providing exemplary students of all majors an on-campus venue to present their research and creative work, CREATE was the culmination of the academic year, as well as the beginning of a new era.
